The future of the High St ….we’re showing the way
There’s a new report on the future of the High Street from logistics experts Parcel Hero and we’re cock-a-hoop about its conclusions. Despite its gloomy title (2030: The Death of the High Street), it predicts that while many of the national chains will indeed disappear from the High Street, good independent retailers offering something special – good service, expert advice and a pleasant shopping experience – will thrive. We hope we are already doing this and our first hundred TrustPilot reviews suggest that most of the time at least our customers agree.
We’re not complacent though and are constantly looking ways to improve – new product ranges, real value for money prices, excellent advice and service. We strive to make sure our staff know the products and our delivery team offer the highest level of customer care.
The report forecasts that the High St of the future will be more like those of Victorian times – thats fine with us just so long as no-one suggest that there won’t be room for us and our ‘modern’ washing machines, dishwashers and induction hobs ….
