The first Coopers Store was opened by Harry Cooper in 1948 in Hinchley wood near London. In 1973 Harry’s son Paul joined the business after finishing university making it a truly family run business.
The Coopers store in East Sheen was opened in 1983, and ten years later the shop in Bath followed. Since then two further stores specializing in built-in appliances have also opened in London.

Harry retired in 1990 and the company is now run by his son Paul, and maintains the feeling of a friendly, family run business.
